SHEDD AQUARIUM OFFERS SPECIAL DISCOUNTS TO RESIDENTS OF CHICAGO’S 2nd WARD
Shedd partners with Alderman Robert W. Fioretti to provide discounted admission and additional savings
WHAT: For more than 80 years, Shedd Aquarium has proudly served the City of Chicago and its diverse communities. Today, Shedd continues that tradition through partnerships with the help of local aldermen. With the support of Ald. Robert W. Fioretti, the aquarium will provide discounted admission to residents of the 2nd Ward on Sunday, March 4.
Whether the aquarium is a place for communities to gather, families to create memorable moments, grandparents to visit with grandkids, or adults to reconnect with their favorite childhood memories, every day at Shedd provides a new adventure. A Ward Day is a special opportunity for Chicagoans to explore the wonders of the undersea world and enjoy the true spirit of community.
Residents of Ald. Fioretti’s ward receive discounted admission and a 10 percent discount on food and gift store items. In order to receive the discount, residents must pick up special admission vouchers from Ald. Fioretti’s office, located at 1319 S. State St. in Chicago. Only original vouchers will be accepted. On March 4, guests with Ward Day vouchers can skip the line and redeem their vouchers at Will Call at the aquarium.
