A 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community association comprised of an alliance of residents focused on the overarching mission to maintain and improve the South Loop as a vibrant and diverse, inclusive community. One of the ways the GSLA achieves this mission is through it’s regular event calendar and neighborhood streetfest, the Bash on Wabash, to bring South Loop neighbor’s together,
Not sure why we changed so much from the original concept. When did a city park turn into a mini Great America? Everybody wants more but realistic values are within budget numbers. The ideas of rock formations and waterfalls are grand but at what expense? The longer it takes to decide on a concept the better the chance it will never get built. Voice your concerns only if they are realistic, tangible, and planning on living in the community beyond the rebound!!!
