Celebrating Women’s History Month! Honoring women in the South Loop who are pioneering roles models.
In communities around the United States, National Womens History Month provides an opportunity to share the significant role of women in American history and contemporary society, and to recognize women who have been instrumental in their local communities. J oin us as we celebrate the women of the South Loop and honor one of our own as South Loop Woman of the Year. Nominations were accepted through February 15, 2013. Use the nomination form to suggest a South Loop woman making a difference in our neighborhood, around Chicago or around the world.
We’re looking for women artists to play background music or display art during the tea. If interested, please contact Amanda at (312) 772-2356 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Women and girls of all ages are welcome. Come prepared to eat and drink a traditional afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, sweets, fruits and a variety of tea options.
