President The GSLA Presidents role is to lead and facilitate the growth and development of the Greater South Loop Association. To develop and maintain a relationship with local and national officials as well as business leaders who represent our community. To effectively voice the community’s collective opinion on issues that affect the quality of life within the Near South neighborhood.
Vice President, Business Relations Maintain and develop relationships with current and future businesses in the Near South neighborhood.
Vice President, Community Enhancement Support continued enhancement through beautification of streets, parks, etc., security and maintenance programs.
Vice President, Real Estate To provide the processes and structure for GSLA to have a strong voice in the development of the South Loop community as a desirable place to live through active interface with developers, the City of Chicago, and elected officials.
Vice President, Resident Relations Responsible for promoting awareness of the GSLA and membership benefits. Act as a liaison for all residents who express interest in the GSLA. Supervise outreach programs through different avenues of communication.
Vice President, Secretary Management of all GSLA formal information including all meeting minutes, recorded documents, and by-law administration. Maintains relationships and communicates with the various associations, museums, churches and other non-profit organizations in the area.
Treasurer Responsible for the management of all financial functions and resources for the GSLA. Prepares and files all financial documents.
