Responsible for encouraging an ongoing dialog between the GSLA and the retail organizations conducting business in the Near South neighborhood.

Community Enhancement

Real Estate
To provide the processes and structure for GSLA to have a strong voice in the development of the South Loop community as a desirable place to live through active interface with Developers, the City of Chicago, and elected officials.

The Developer checklist is a tool developed by the Real Estate and Development Committee to facilitate early communication with Development Teams on the criteria the committee will use in evaluating proposed projects for GSLA support.

Resident Relations
Charged with promoting sociability and recreation among its members through the planning of GSLA sponsored events. Facilitating events in partnership with GSLA member buildings and communicating information about various events of interest to GSLA members and their neighbors.
